Deviled Egg Dip

Recipe: 

  • Pickled garlic
  • 4 cloves of garlic thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Big pinch of salt

Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to a pot
And bring to a boil
2. Let pickles cool in fridge for at least 24 hours  TIP-Don’t throw the leftover pickle juice away. Save it to use again, or add it to your bloody Mary’s.

Pimento oil:
1. Mix equals parts olive oil and smoked paprika together
( you can also use chipotle powder)


Dip:

  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1/2 cup Dijon
  • 1/3 cup
  • Dill
  • Chives
  • Salt to taste


Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend till completely smooth (about 5 minutes)
2. Spread dip onto a platter or into a bowl. Top the dip with pickled garlic and a drizzle of pimento oil.  
3. Finish the dip with fresh  chopped dill and chives
