Schenectady woman accused of throwing child at police

A Schenectady woman is accused of throwing her child at police. State police tell NewsChannel 13 they were called to a dispute on a road in Amsterdam.

Diamond Wallace was arguing with her mother.

Investigators say she was holding her 6-month-old child in a car seat on her lap while being interviewed by police.  Troopers say she got upset and threw the car seat and child across the car at the trooper.

The infant was not hurt.

Wallace is now charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
