Zoe, the dog who was rescued after chewing her own leg off because of bone cancer, has now been declared cancer free.

The Susquehanna SPCA, the organization that rescued Zoe, says the dog recently had surgery to remove a fatty mass on her shoulder.

Executive Director Stacie Haynes says she was released from the vet on Friday.

Zoe's former owner, Carl Pritchard, is set to appear in Exeter town court on Wednesday on animal abuse charges.
