Donor buys gravestones at Troy cemetery for families who can't afford one

TROY - There are dozens of brand new grave markers at the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, and it's all thanks to an anonymous donor.

In several spots at the cemetery, you'll now find dozens of the brand new granite headstones.

They were bought anonymously and donated to families who weren't able to buy one.

Now, that anonymous donor has been revealed -- and the families are grateful for him.

Albany plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Lynch and his wife Linda have put nearly $70,000 into a remembrance memorial fund to donate the grave markers for families.
