Two people found dead in Schoharie County home

SUMMIT - Two suspicious deaths are under investigation in Schoharie County.

Police tell NewsChannel 13 the bodies of a man and woman were found in a home on Rossman Valley Road in the town of Summit. They are identified as 24-year-old Dustin McMahon and 31-year-old Christina Arvidson -- both of Richmondville.

The area of the crime scene is a rural area. Properties are not close together. The crime scene is a good distance from an area where police closed the road.

This all began after state police say they got a call on Tuesday for the suspicious deaths. They believe the two people died overnight on Monday.

Police at the scene say they expect to be there for quite some time.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
