Drugs and stolen gun found inside karaoke machine

HUDSON-- Three men are accused of hiding a stash of drugs and a stolen gun inside a children's karaoke machine. 

Hudson Police and the Columbia County Sheriff's Office pulled a car over on 41 N. Second Street after 8:00 pm Friday night for an ongoing drug investigation.

Inside the toy, authorities say they found three hundred and fifty doses of heroin, along with a handgun they say was stolen from South Carolina. 

The driver of the Mustang, 37-year-old Dorian Carr of Hudson, and passengers Austin Carr and Maleek Singleton face drug, weapon and stolen property charges. 

Singleton was convicted on May 6, 2014 of robbery in the third degree. Carr was convicted of DWI in 2018. Dorian and Austin Carr are cousins.
