ALBANY - Now that the snow has ended, efforts turn to cleaning it all up.
Residents are urged to clear their sidewalks. Several communities, including the cities of Albany and Pittsfield, have laws in place requiring people to shovel within 24 hours of the storm.
Pittsfield police say it's especially important near schools. Failure to comply could lead to fines.
Most areas received 6-10 inches of snow on Wednesday.
