Ellis Hospital staff take knee during Floyd's funeral

SCHENECTADY - As George Floyd's funeral started on Tuesday, all available staff at Ellis Hospital walked outside and took a knee.

More than 100 Ellis employees joined in this show of support.


Organizers say it was important to them that staff e-mailed and asked them to do it - and they want to let their community know they care.

Organizers say it was important for them to do this at the same time Floyd's funeral was going on.
