A herd of bison is roaming free after escaping from a farm in Sharon Springs, Schoharie County last week. The owner says he is working with state police on a plan to roundup the animals.
The Proper family owns the Honey Hill Farm in Roseboom, Otsego County -- one county over. They came back from the farm to find some 80+ buffalo doing a lot of damage.
The farmers will have to reseed tons of fields.
They want state and local agencies to work together to come up with a plan to corral and remove the buffalo before someone gets hurt.
Hear more about the damage the escaped bison did to the farm by watching the video of Kumi Tucker's story.
