Search continues for escaped inmate in Berkshire County

The search continues for a violent inmate, missing in the Berkshires.    

Police say Harry Chandler Junior escaped from sheriff's deputies while at Berkshire Medical Center, where he was receiving some treatment.

He was in custody at the time on drug and assault charges. He was last seen wearing orange pants, no shoes and no shirt.    

Police tell NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle that Chandler is a threat, and is unpredictable.    

If you see him, police say do not go near him, and call 911 immediately.
