FBI arrests Capital Region man for alleged role in Capitol siege

The FBI has arrested a 26-year-old Capital Region man for his alleged role in the riots at the Capitol last week. Brandon Fellows was arrested Saturday night.

Fellows is being charged for entering into a restricted building or grounds by violent means, as well as violent entry or disorderly conduct.

According to documents released by the FBI, Fellows driver's license lists him as a Schenectady resident, but he describes himself as being from Albany.

Fellows is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 19 in the Northern District of New York.
