A Vermont fire chief who helped put out the fast moving fire at Bennington College last week says saving the building was among their best work.

Joe Vadakin is the Chief of the Shaftsbury Volunteer Fire Department.

He says the potential was great for the loss of the building called "the Barn."

An estimated $250,000 of damage was caused. Investigators say the fire was accidental and likely caused by an electrical issue.
