TROY - A retired fire captain and his family have lost everything in a fire at their home outside Troy.
The fire broke out at the Raymertown home of Captain Chuck Rebhun.
No one was home at the time, but the family's six dogs died.
The house is a total loss.
Rebhun retired earlier this year, after being a fire captain for 30 years.
A fundraiser will be held Thursday at Wynantskill Station Café.
