15-year-old boy charged in connection with Fort Edward fire

FORT EDWARD - A 15-year-old boy is charged in connection with the fire that destroyed a home in Fort Edward last week.

The fire was on November 27 on McKie Street.

Police say the teen was involved in burglaries around town and set items on fire to cover it up. That fire then spread to the house.

The teen will be prosecuted as a juvenile because of his age.

No one was hurt in the fire.
