House fire in Pittstown under investigation

PITTSTOWN - Fire has destroyed a home in Pittstown that's at least 150 years old.

The fire broke out at 103 Old Route 7 around 10 a.m.

A multiple-layered metal roof and extremely cold temperatures made it tough for firefighters to battle.

Fire investigators say everyone got out safely.

There are no reports of injuries.
