Schenectady fire leaves two families without home

SCHENECTADY - Fire investigators are still looking for what started a fire in Schenectady on Wednesday.

The fire ripped through a home's roof on Van Vranken Avenue.

Strong winds helped the fire spread quickly from the second floor up to the attic.

Two families live in the home, including eight children.

Everyone was able to get out safely.
