He said when firefighters arrived there were heavy flames on the third floor of the home in the back. Chief Fahd said no one was injured in the fire, and firefighters were able to rescue several animals on the first floor. The neighboring home did endure some water damage. Chief Fahd said firefighters only had a little difficulty fighting flames.

“They found there were tin ceilings up there, which always makes it tough trying to pull them down so they were having difficulty with that,” said Cohoe Fire Chief Joseph Fahd.

The chief said the home is not a total loss. He said the cause is under investigation.
