CLIFTON PARK - Officials in Clifton Park say the number of people in need of assistance from local food pantries has skyrocketed in the last few weeks.

The town will be holding a food drive this Friday to help stock shelves.

This is the second town-sponsored drive in the last few weeks.

The town held a food drive a few weeks ago and that one was a huge success. However, with demand so high, the town's stockpile is running low already. That's why they're getting ready to do it all again.

The town-sponsored food drive will be held Friday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Senior Community Center.
