Troy shows off darkened foreclosed properties

TROY - The city of Troy is selling 10 properties that have been foreclosed on and they're giving interested buyers an up close look.

The city held a series of open houses on Thursday. They allowed visitors to go inside each property, an unusual move when dealing with foreclosures.

"Allowing people to come in to see the properties is a plus and, you know, it will definitely give the interest in people to come in and hopefully put some use into a lot of the vacant buildings," explained Jerry Ford, with the Troy Boys and Girls Club.
