Former Troy City Council member to face assault charge in court

A former member of the Troy City Council is due in court on Monday to face charges of felony assault and endangering the welfare of a child.    

Timothy Kennedy is accused of spiking a woman's drink with THC, without her consent.    


According to the Times Union, Kennedy and the woman were sitting in a car outside his home on October 30, 2019.     

A baby was also allegedly in the car.
