Pittsfield arson suspect caught at Canadian-Vermont border

Police in Pittsfield say arson suspect Phillip Jordan, 58, is in custody. Police say Jordan intentionally set four fires in the city Saturday night, but there were no injuries in the fires.

They say Jordan was apprehended at the Canadian-Vermont border without injury to himself or others and will be extradited to Pittsfield.
Vermont State Police say customs found a black firearm in Jordan's vehicle.

Until he is moved back to Massachusetts, Jordan is being held on $10,000 bail at the Northwest Correctional Facility in Swanton.
