Troy fuel leak under investigation

TROY - A fuel leak is under investigation in Troy. It happened in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue.

Firefighters say it appears the rain has gone down into an underground fuel tank, pushing the oil up into the streets.

No homes had to be evacuated.

There is construction on the sewer system in that area.

When NewsChannel 13 arrived at the scene, we saw firefighters putting down absorbent pads.

Firefighters say there is no threat to the public.
