Fundraiser for Josh Woodward

September 22, 2019 10:42 AM

ALTAMONT-Dozens of community members came out to the Altamont Fairgrounds on Saturday to help support Josh Woodward. Woodward, 34, is the Albany Airport Firefighter who's been battling for his life for the last seven months after being diagnosed with septic shock last winter.

The event was organized by local firefighters and included a performance from American Idol's Madison Vandenburgh, a BBQ and a dunk tank. Proceeds will benefit Woodward Strong Inc, an organization started by Josh Woodward and his wife Chelsea to help other first responders cope with emergencies.
