CHESTER - A tragic roofing accident kills a man in Chester, Warren County.

The sheriff's office says 55-year-old Gary Bogdan and his 27-year-old nephew were working on a roof at 255 Knapp Hill Road around 8:30 Wednesday morning. That's when Bogdan may have sheared off nails and caused a bracket holding them both to dislodge.

Both men fell 20 feet.

Bogdan was pronounced dead at the scene. His nephew, Adam, was taken to Glens Falls Hospital.
