Colonie gas station robbed at gunpoint

COLONIE - A Colonie gas station is robbed at gunpoint.

It happened at the Red Kap Mobil at the corner of Albany-Shaker and Osborne Road around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say an employee was working late when he was confronted by three masked men demanding money and cigarettes.

One of the suspects was armed with a black long barrel handgun or pistol gripped long gun.

They took less than $400 in cash and several dozen packs of cigarettes.

Police say no shots were fired and the gas station employee was not hurt.
