Beloved Clifton Park turkey believed to be killed

CLIFTON PARK - Sad news out of Clifton Park, and further proof that November is just not a good month to be a turkey. 

It's believed that "George the Turkey" -- a beloved Clifton Park neighborhood mascot, was struck and killed Thursday evening on Ushers Road.

That's the same road where George would enjoy his favorite pastimes - chasing people and walking into traffic. 

Back in August, NewsChannel 13 told you about a scare for neighbors when George was attacked by a dog. Now, George’s luck ran out.
