Gloversville police: Needles, pins found in Halloween candy

Gloversville police are looking into several reports of needles and pins in Halloween candy.

They say the trick-or-treaters were reportedly in the area of Kingsboro Avenue from First Avenue, north to Sixth Avenue.

They say the type of candy involved has varied.

Parents are strongly encouraged to closely inspect all candy. Anyone who finds something suspicious is asked to call Gloversville Police at (518) 773-4506.
