Gloversville woman charged with trying to prevent person's arrest

A Gloversville woman is facing charges, accused of assault, hindering prosecution, and resisting arrest.

State police tell NewsChannel 13 they tried to arrest another person at Cynthia Baxter's home, on a burglary warrant.

Troopers say Baxter tried to prevent the arrest and physically resisted her own arrest, attempting to injure an officer.

Baxter is now in the Fulton County Jail on $10,000 bail.
