Governor Cuomo sent state resources down to North Carolina ahead of Hurricane Dorian to assist in response and recovery efforts.
Governor Cuomo deployed state resources to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands last week. Earlier this week, he deployed resources to Florida.
The team includes 21 fire protection specialists, six forest rangers from the Department of Environmental Conservation, and six members of the Division of Homeland Security.
They packed up their gear and underwent a medical checkup before leaving for Raleigh.
