Grandma's Pies and Restaurant closing after 42 years

After 42 years in business, the beloved restaurant on Central Avenue will be closing its doors on July 15th. 

The iconic Grandma's Pies and Restaurant was notorious for its creamy turkey soup and Boston cream pies.

The announcement was made yesterday on the Restaurants' Facebook page. 

"We wish to thank you all for being a part of our family, as well as allowing us to be a part of your families." 

The owners have had the building up for sale since the spring.
