Group opposed to Sheridan Hollow power plant delivers petition to Capitol

A petition over a proposed Albany power plant is being delivered Tuesday to the state Capitol.

The petition calls on Gov. Cuomo and the New York Power Authority to stop plans to build the Sheridan Hollow natural gas power plant.

The group called the Sheridan Hollow Alliance for Renewable Energy says it has over 3,000 signatures on the petition. They say they would prefer renewable energy solutions to power the Capitol and Empire State Plaza.
