CLIFTON PARK - It was a special homecoming on Friday for Hannah Sames of Clifton Park.

Police and firefighters gave Hannah an escort as she returned from a hospital in Boston, where she underwent surgery before Thanksgiving.

Hannah suffers from a rare genetic disorder, giant axonal neuropathy.

The firefighters also helped shovel the driveway so Hannah and her family could get into their house.
