Inmate missing from Pittsfield found

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - After four days on the run, Harry Chandler is back behind bars.

Chandler overpowered a deputy Monday afternoon at Berkshire Medical Center, and escaped police custody.

Chandler was picked up on Robbins Avenue in Pittsfield, around 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Police say Chandler's family helped facilitate his safe arrest.

Chandler was facing drug and assault charges at the time of his original arrest. Police will assuredly be adding to that list.
