COLONIE - The U.S. Post Office’s regional processing center in Colonie was evacuated late Saturday after three employees came down with a rash associated with an unknown substance in or on a package.

HAZMAT responders were brought in to assess the situation, and have ruled the substance non-hazardous. Additional testing is now being done to figure out exactly what it is.
