Many people avoid running as a way to get and stay in shape because they fear being injured. That's where chi running comes in. You're probably familiar with the low impact exercise of tai chi. That's the bones of chi running, as it asks us to move the body in a natural order -- where the big muscles do the heavy lifting, the smaller muscles do less, and the tiniest muscles do very little.
