Health Beat: Dementia Research

There's been a flurry of research into Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Albany Medical College is in the thick of it. Researchers there have discovered that targeting a specific type of immune cell in the aged brain might help combat Alzheimer’s disease and other aging-related dementias. Here to talk about that work is dr. Kristen zuloaga, an assistant professor in the Department of Neuroscience and Experimental Therapeutics at the medical college. She's also one of the authors of the study.
