Hearing on limo and bus safety to be held in Albany

The New York State Senate will hold a public hearing next week on limousine and bus safety.

This comes more than six months after the limousine crash in Schoharie that killed 20 people.

Lawmakers say the new state budget includes new regulations for limousine operators, but they want to hear from the public on safety concerns.

The hearing will take place next Thursday, May 2 at 10 a.m. at the Legislative Office Building in Albany.
