Man arrested in Albany in connection with Rotterdam domestic incident

ALBANY - There was a heavy police presence at a gas station on North Pearl Street Monday morning.

Officers surrounded the station around 11:15. The station is in a residential neighborhood on the Albany-Menands line. It is just across the street from NewsChannel 13.

Police arrested Quinn Blond after swarming the gas station Monday morning.

They say Blond injured a woman during an argument, took away her phone to prevent her from calling 911 and then stole her car.

He was arraigned on charges including robbery and assault.
