In the last two weeks of June the co-op held a fundraising drive, including a 'pay what you can' barbecue to help raise money for the league.

“Some of the children in the neighborhood here don’t have the chance to participate in those things. And again like any athletic program there is some funding that’s needed between equipment and rehabbing a field if you need to do that, so we thought this money could go towards some of those opportunities to give these kids opportunities to participate in those programs,” Rick Mausert of the Honest Weight Food Co-op said.

Honest Weight also matched some of the donations during the fundraising drive.
