Hoosick Falls residents consider options for reliable, clean drinking water source

Residents were hearing proposals at Hoosick Valley High School Wednesday night for where new sources could come from.

It is so residents can learn and give their thoughts on a recent report that came out by Saint-Gobain and Honeywell.

That report was required by the state Department of Environmental Conservation and provides potential options for a clean and reliable drinking water source for the Hoosick Falls Water District.

People in the area were told to stop drinking water here many years ago.

Those two companies were blamed for contaminating water with PFOA, a chemical linked to causing cancer.
