Hudson Falls teen admits to role in deadly crash

A teenager from Hudson Falls pleaded guilty on Wednesday to manslaughter and vehicular assault.

Christopher Miranda faces up to 15 years in state prison when he is sentenced in April.

Miranda was driving while intoxicated on Bluebird Road in Moreau last August, when his car went off the road and hit a tree. His passenger, 16-year-old Zachery Brown, was killed. A 14-year-old passenger also in the vehicle was seriously hurt.

Authorities say Miranda was going over 100 miles per hour when he lost control and crashed.
