Hundreds of kayakers row for mesotheliona fundraiser

WATERFORD -- A father's love grows into a unique fundraiser.

Mark Wells started a kayaking event in 2011 for his daughter who is battling mesothelioma. There were three other kayakers that year.

This year, Kayaking for Meso saw nearly three hundred kayakers hit the Hudson River to raise awareness and money for research to fight the disease.

If you weren't able to attend Sunday's event, you can still make a donation to the Research Foundation
