Loving animals finally found a new home.

NBC and Telemundo owned stations teamed up with hundreds of shelters across the country to host Clear the Shelters, a nationwide event.

On Saturday, NewsChannel 13 visited the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Menands. That was just one of the many shelters across the country that waived or reduced their adoption fees.

762 animals were adopted locally since the campaign began last month.

Since the beginning of the year, 92,000 pets were adopted. In total, over 300,000 adopted since the event began in 2015.
