First phase of Albany affordable housing project complete

ALBANY - Phase one of the $45 million construction project at the Ida Yarbrough homes in Albany is now complete and phase two is underway.

The goal is to re-invent the concept of affordable housing and provide 161 families with a new place to live.

Phase one includes 11 new buildings, with 61 townhomes and apartments. Phase two includes four new buildings with 76 apartments.
