Man sought in identity theft investigation

Colonie police have released surveillance photos of a suspect in a case of identity theft.

They say the man may have placed a skimming device at a SEFCU ATM in May and a CapCom ATM in June. These devices steal information off credit cards.

Police tell NewsChannel 13 the two cases are linked to a similar crime at SEFCU NewsChannel 13 reported on Monday.

SEFCU says about 100 members were affected and they have been reimbursed.
