Troy celebrates completion of new boat launch

TROY - The city of Troy is celebrating the completion of a major waterfront re-development project.

The Ingalls Avenue boat launch opened for the season on Friday morning.

It's a recreational facility that provides direct public access to the Hudson River for boating, kayaking, and fishing.

The project hopes to reconnect Troy residents and neighborhoods to the Hudson River and Troy's seven-mile waterfront.
