Intense temperatures hit the Capital District

The blazing hot weekend kept most people indoors, but not everyone.

The heat didn't stop runners like Alison Bergin from pounding the pavement early.


"I just did 2 laps, I'm only doing 3, just a short little run today" she said. 

Meanwhile, others like Jesse Vonwergers preferred the air conditioner. 

"It's very hot right now. I drink lots of Gatorade and water."
