For the first time since 1966, "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" will not be on broadcast TV.

Apple TV announced this week they will now be the exclusive home for the Halloween tradition.

The special aired for years on CBS, but in more recent times has aired on ABC.

Apple TV will also have "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

However, there will be a very short window during each holiday period where the special will be available to stream for free.
