Bail set for man accused of stealing catalytic converters

The man accused of stealing catalytic converters from around the Capital Region went before a judge on Thursday.

Bail has been set for $2,500 for Jake Hodgdon from Vermont.


He's accused of making multiple trips to YS Catalytic Recycling in Albany.

While troopers were at the recycling business, they say Hodgdon showed up with nine stolen catalytic converters.

Police say he also had a Sawzall on him that he tried to hide.
