Jim Kambrich co-anchors NewsChannel 13 Live at 5 with Elaine Houston, Live at 6 with Benita Zahn, and Live at 11 with Karen Tararache as well as NewsChannel 13 Live at 10 on My4 Albany. In addition to his anchoring duties, he is also a general assignment reporter.

A graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse College, Jim holds a BA degree in Television and Radio. He started at WSYR Radio in Syracuse.

From 1981 to 1991, Jim worked for WAKR radio, and WAKC-TV in Akron, Ohio.

In 1991, Jim moved to Madison, Wisconsin where he anchored at WMTV before coming to NewsChannel 13 in 1994.

Jim is an Emmy award winner and has been nominated twice.

He lives in Glenmont with his wife and two children.
